As a Quality Manager you are responsible for the project quality planning, execution, and reporting in compliance with the instructions of quality function and project requirements. You will be in cooperation with the rest of the project team. The position is located in Varkaus or Espoo office with hybrid work possibility.
What we expect from you:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a technical area, preferred Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Material Engineering, or other related
- experience with Quality responsibilities in international projects in energy industry. Similar experience from the areas of Pressure Part Engineering, Manufacturing or Construction can be also considered.
- fluent spoken and written English and Finnish.
Good ability to:
- co-operate with all parties
- manage own responsibilities with proactive working
- seek solutions to unclear or problematic situations
- adapt in varying workload and to changes in operating environment
- read complex technical drawings
Knowledge of:
- Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU
- Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
- EN 13480 Metallic Industrial Piping -standard
- Pressure part welding, material and nondestructive examination standards
- Industrial boilers with auxiliaries
