Barista [New Zealand]

 Te Papa is looking for a Permanent and Casual Barista to join our wonderful team in our Cafés.
Te Papa stands proud as an iconic national building housing the treasures of the nation and is a vibrant destination for both national and international visitors. The Café Team at Te Papa is a fun and supportive atmosphere where you will be working in a busy, fast-paced environment delivering memorable and positive experiences for our visitors.

The ideal candidate will have :

• Minimum of 1 year experience making coffee, in a busy environment.
• A passion for creating consistent high-quality coffees.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude.

For full-time permanent position, you will be rostered 40 hours over a 7-day week. Flexibility and adaptability will be key to your success as we operate 364 days a year and you will need to be available on weekends and public holidays as these are some of our busiest days. Please include your availability to work across all days.
Regarding the Casual position, please include your availability.
