If you have a passion for plants, then you've come to the right place as an Account Manager at our label The Plant Team (TPT). As a commercial self-starter you know exactly what the trends are in indoor plants. We will provide you with a well-filled customer portfolio of medium-sized garden centers in the United Kingdom. It goes without saying that you are fluent in English and familiar with the culture. Naturally, you are someone who likes to think ahead and responds to market developments. After we have introduced you to our large organization, you will join the other sales people in the sales team to conquer this growing retail market in the UK.
As part of the worldwide FM Group, the TPT sales team operates from Naaldwijk. The sourcing and procurement processing take place in Aalsmeer. Due to the coordination with the sourcing manager and the inspection of products, you will work from Aalsmeer at least once a week.
What will you do?
- You maintain contact with English garden centers and explore their needs.
- Together with the procurement department, you prepare (proactive) offers and place them on the webshop.
- You continuously explore what is going on in the plant market, identify new trends, and respond to them.
- A few times a year, you visit your customers. After all, it's always nice to know who is behind a name or voice!
What will you do?
- You have knowledge and/or a great affinity with the plant industry.
- You can handle yourself well in the hectic pace of day trading.
- You bring some experience in a similar position or have grown up in a grower's family.
- You have good command of the English language in speech and writing and are familiar with the culture.
- You are communicative and can empathize with your customer's needs.
- You are handy with numbers so that you can achieve nice margins.
- You can work independently as well as in a team.
- You keep an overview, even when there is a lot coming at you at once.
